Create, customize, and share a Lydia money pot
Any verified customer can open a Lydia money pot for free directly from the app. Each fund has a customizable online page (name, description, photo, emoji) with a unique link to share for collecting contributions.
The creator freely decides whether to display the amounts collected and available. The money pot can be shared via messaging or by QR code, which can be downloaded and printed.

How to contribute to a Lydia money pot
Visitors can contribute to a Lydia money pot directly from a web browser, without creating an account or downloading the app. If the visitor has the Lydia app, it automatically opens when they access the fund from their phone.
Several payment options are accepted: bank card (debit, credit, or prepaid), Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer to a dedicated IBAN, or via the Lydia applications.

Track a money pot and withdraw the collected money
The creator can track all contributions within the app and receive email or push notifications for each new participation. Participants can follow a money pot by pinning it and can stop following it at any time. The money pot automatically disappears from followers’ apps once it is closed.
Only the creator has access to the identities of the participants. The creator can withdraw the funds in one or multiple transactions by transferring them to their Lydia wallet or by purchasing Amazon.fr gift cards.

Fees and closing of a Lydia money pot
Service fees may apply when withdrawing funds to an account, but the purchase of an Amazon.fr gift card is free of charge regardless of the payment method used by participants.
When withdrawing funds to an account, fees apply only to certain contributions. Contributions made through the Lydia applications are free, while other contributions are subject to a 4% service fee (for funds created after May 1, 2026).
These fees help cover card transaction costs, fraud prevention and payment security, service development, and customer support.
Once the money pot is emptied, the creator can permanently close it, making the page inaccessible and blocking any future participation.
