Creating a money pot
The customer with a verified profile can create a money pot free of charge. Money pots that have been created and are still open are accessible from the "Money pots" screen in the application.
The online participation page
Each Lydia money pot is automatically linked to a dedicated online page, accessible via a unique link that must be shared to receive contributions. This page can be viewed from any device connected to the Internet (computer or smartphone).
The creator can customize their page to present the purpose of the money pot and encourage visitors to participate.
Customize the online page
From the "Online page settings" screen, in the application, the creator of a money pot can :
- Edit the online page title;
- Add or modify the description;
- Modify the emoji;
- Add or modify the cover photo;
- Enable or disable contributions by wire (a dedicated and secure IBAN will be displayed to participants)
Disabling or reactivating the IBAN takes approximately 5 minutes to take effect on the online page.
- Choose whether or not to display the total balance (sum of contributions);
- Choose whether or not to display the available balance (remaining money pot balance).
Sharing the money pot page
To receive contributions, the creator must access the money pot page within the app and share its link via messaging (SMS, email, WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.) by clicking the "Share" icon.
All visitors to the moneypot page can also share it by clicking the "Share" icon located at the top right of the page.
QR Code Option
From the money pot online page, the creator or visitor can share the money pot as a QR code. This QR code allows anyone to open the money pot page by scanning it, just like any other QR code.
It is possible to download this QR code as a PDF or print it.
