All Lydia money pots automatically have an online page linked to them, to facilitate contributions for those who don't have the Lydia app.
Customizing online pages
Users can tap the "⧉" icon, then the money pot at issue, and finally "Online page" in order to:
- edit the online page name
- add a description to the online page
- add a cover photo
- contribute using an IBAN
- enable or disable the display of the total amount collected and/or the current available balance.
It takes 5 minutes for the deactivation/reactivation of the IBAN to take effect on the online page. With IBANs, instant and regular (2-3 working days) wire transfers can be received. The IBAN can't be used to set up direct debit mandates.
Sharing online pages
Users can tap the "⧉" icon, then the money pot at issue, and finally "Online page". The "Share" button can be used to send the online page link to others.
Ways of contributing to money pots via online pages
Users can contribute to money pots via online pages in several ways:
- with Lydia, if they have a Lydia account linked to the phone number they enter. They will then receive an in-app request
- with a bank card, by filling in their card details in the online page form
- by wire transfer, participants can also send wire transfers to the displayed IBAN (regular or instant transfer).
For money pots created using app version 13.21 and earlier versions, a 2.5% commission fee (min. €0.10) applies to contributions made using a bank card via the payment form. See Lydia Pricing and Limits annex.
For contributions made by wire transfer, some banks may ask for the name of the money pot creator as well as their bank details (BIC). One can enter the first and last name of the money pot organizer as well as the following BIC number: LYDIFRP2XXX
For each contribution, users will see a payment receipt show up in their transaction history, stating the first and last name (or phone number) of the contributor, as well as the contribution amount.
