Service fees
The fees that apply are only charged at the moment of withdrawing the collected money, and depending on the chosen option, there may be fees or not:
- Purchase of an Amazon gift card: No fees, regardless of the payment method used by the participants.
- Withdrawal to an account:
- For money pots created after May 1, 2026: A service fee of 4% applies only to the amount of contributions made outside the Lydia applications.
- For money pots created before May 1, 2026: A service fee of 4% is applied to the entire amount of money collected.
To minimize fees or even benefit from a completely free money pot, creators are encouraged to have participants contribute via the Lydia app rather than through the online money pot page.

Closing the money pot
Once the collection is finished and the balance is €0, the creator can close the money pot from the application by clicking on "Close this money pot" (at the bottom of the page).
This action is irreversible: once closed, the money pot cannot be reopened. The online page becomes inaccessible, and any further participation is impossible.
