Money pots created after May 1, 2026, can be entirely free, depending on the participation or withdrawal method used:
- First case: The participant pays via the Lydia app. No commission is applied when withdrawing the collected money. The money pot is free.
- Second case: The participant pays from the money pot web page, using their bank card or making a bank transfer. A 4% commission is then applied when withdrawing funds to a bank account.
- In all cases, this commission is reduced to 0% if the funds are withdrawn by purchasing an Amazon.fr gift card.
Concrete example: Your money pot receives 10 contributions of €20.00 each, and you withdraw the money to your Lydia Wallet.
If all participants pay via the Lydia app, you can use 100% of the collected funds, i.e., €200.00, to please the beneficiary. The money pot is therefore entirely free.
If three participants pay from the web page (without the Lydia app), you will have €197.60 (200-(60* 0.04)). The total commission then represents 1.2% of the amount collected.
