Expired ID
Lydia is required to use a valid document to verify the identity of users.
Lydia is prohibited by law from accepting an expired document. If the user no longer has a valid ID, it will be necessary to wait until a new one is obtained.
Validity extensions
French national identity cards (CNI) are in some cases valid for 5 years after the displayed expiry date. Lydia takes this extension into account.
Please note that the card is not eligible for extension if:
- The cardholder was a minor at the time of issue
- The card was issued after 01/01/2014
- The card had already expired on 01/01/2014.
