Lydia is also a software application used by many Internet merchants to accept payments from their customers.
Users can pay using money available in their Lydia account. A payment request will then be generated in the transaction history. Alternatively, they can enter their credit card numbers in a form managed by Lydia on behalf of the merchant.
This is why users may see the words " LYDIA*LYDIA SOL" on their bank statement after making an online purchase.
" LYDIA*LYDIA SOL" on your bank statement may also be the result of your participation in a money pot. To find out more, read "I see LYDIA*LYDIA SOL on my bank statement. But I've never paid with Lydia".
The merchant is always responsible for the delivery
If the user pays with Lydia and his/her account has been debited, this means that the transaction has gone through. The merchant has therefore normally received the money.
The merchant must be able to provide :
- a payment receipt, immediately, confirming that the payment has been processed ;
- an invoice with the customer's name and address, confirming that the product has been ordered ;
- order and delivery status information.
Lydia is not responsible for orders and shipment of products. If you do not receive your order, please contact the merchant's customer service department.
