The customer can close his account at any time through the app or via email.

This action is irreversible: the customer will lose access to the applications provided by Lydia Solutions (Lydia and Sumeria), as well as his data.

If customers wish to use only one of the two apps, there is no need to close one's account. Instead, since their account is linked to both apps, they simply need to uninstall the app they no longer wish to use.

Si le client souhaite utiliser uniquement l’une des deux applications, il n'est pas nécessaire de clôturer son compte. Son compte étant lié aux 2 applications, il lui suffit de désinstaller celle qu'il ne souhaite plus utiliser.

In-app

The user can delete his account at any time right from the app, by navigating to the “Security” screen from the Profile and tapping “Delete my account”.

The account will be automatically closed in-app if the account balance is zero and no money pot is open.

By email

The user can also ask to definitively close his Lydia account at any time by sending an email to hello@lydia.me that includes the following info:

  • His first and last name;
  • The phone number linked to the Lydia account at issue;
  • The reason for the account closure.
