The Lydia app lets customers automate sending or requesting payments from Settings in one of two ways: either as a reminder that the customer must confirm on the scheduled date, or as a payment that is automatically executed on that date.
Scheduled payments
Create a scheduled payment
The customer chooses whether to automate a payment to be sent or received, then specifies the recipient, amount, transaction label, and the account to be debited or credited.
They can set the frequency (one-time or recurring) and the execution date.
By default, a scheduled payment is automatic, but the customer can enable the “Confirmation before payment” option. In this case, a reminder requesting confirmation will be sent on the scheduled date. The customer can also choose to stop the automation on a specific date.
Manage scheduled payments
From the “To send” and “To receive” tabs, the customer can edit, pause, or delete scheduled payments.
Notifications
If the customer has enabled push notifications, they will receive one whenever action is required. Otherwise, they will receive transaction notifications for each transaction, whether scheduled in advance or not, according to their communication preferences.
