The Lydia app allows you to transfer money securely using a payment link. The recipient can claim the funds in two ways:
- From a smartphone: By opening the link directly in the Lydia app.
- From a web browser: By entering their bank details on a secure Lydia webpage.
How to verify the legitimacy of a received link
- Check the URL structure: The link must strictly start with
[https://money.lydia.me/]. Any other format indicates a potential phishing attempt. - Test with the app: If in doubt, download the Lydia app from the App Store or Google Play Store (there is no need to create an account or sign in). If the link opens automatically in the app, its legitimacy is confirmed. Otherwise, do not enter any personal information.
Important: Never share a payment link with a third party. Anyone in possession of the link could be able to collect the money.
